Setting up content server?

From an email: "I need to know the processes involved in setting up a content server and creating modules for learning with OppiaMobile. "

The basic process for setting this up is:

  1. Install a Moodle server - it is best to download directly from the Moodle site to get the latest version, as other sources (eg package repositories) can have very old and unsupported versions of Moodle.
  2. Install and configure the Oppia Export Block, the instructions for this can be found here: https://oppiamobile.readthedocs.io/en/latest/technical/install/block.html
  3. You should now be ready to create your content in Moodle and then export to your Oppia server and app, for more info on course authoring in Moodle for use in Oppia, see: https://oppiamobile.readthedocs.io/en/latest/content/author.html

Thanks for your response. It helps a lot.

However, i would like to know if the server can be created on your side and i will go ahead to install and configure the Oppia export block as highlighted.

Hi Bamidele,
Instrat should already have an area on our Moodle server, see: https://moodle.digital-campus.org/course/index.php?categoryid=32 - you’ll need to log in first - you have an account already, but if you’ve forgotten your password, you should be able to ask for reset from the login page.
Let me know if this is enough for what you need now.
